We’re pleased to announce today the launch of https://npmhooks.org

Npmhooks is similar to rubygems API and enables webhooks on npm packages updates. Once a webhook is registered, it will be pinged in real-time. It is powered by a CouchDB database at http://isaacs.iriscouch.com/registry.
Getting started
It’s very easy, the API is a simple HTTP Restful API. First, you need to register a webhook (a listener URL):
curl -H 'Authorization:YOUR_API_KEY' \
-F 'url=http://requestb.in/171hq0u1' \
https://npmhooks.org/api/v1/web_hooks
Successfully created webhook to http://requestb.in/171hq0u1
(Requestb.in is a good way to test webhooks).
And all updates will fired on this URL right away. Nothing more.

Credits
Npmhooks was developed by Christian Joudrey, is fully open-sourced, and sponsored by Tech-Angels.
Special thanks to Isaacs for the registery.
